	Data Miners is a consultancy founded by Michael J. A. Berry and Gordon S. Linoff, two of the world's foremost experts in applying advanced data mining techniques to generate true business intelligence. Rounding out the Data Miners team of experts are Dorian Pyle, Will Potts, and Brij Masand. Dorian has worked in the area known today as data mining for more than 25 years. He's applied these techniques to solve business problems in credit card, finance, telecoms, online and offline retail, industrial automation, among other inds. The author of the definitive work on data prep, Data Preparation for Data Mining, Dorian is a popular speaker and teacher on data mining, web mining, and CRM. Will joined Data Miners from the SAS Institute, where he performed data analysis projects in a variety of inds, including finance, telecoms, health care, pharmaceuticals, retail, and consumer banking. He's expert in applying analytical methods, and developed and taught several courses on modeling and mining using SAS. Brij is regarded as an expert in the areas of text mining and web usage mining and has authored several research articles on data mining in general. He has two patents in the area of text mining and three more patent applications in progress for intelligent agents in the area of financial services.
